Finally starting a Recipe Blog
I've put this off for a decade but have finally decided to start a food blog featuring recipes written in the "chef's shorthand recipe template". I've chosen the name Mise en Place - Recipes by Chef David as the name of the site.I found a plugin which allows the reader to scale a recipe from 1 serving to 20 servings and it adjusts the recipe ingredient amounts accordingly! Really a cool (and very useful) feature. It also allows the inclusion of a nutrition table.
My first recipes will include dungeness crab cakes, seared jumbo scallops with pea puree, smoked sockeye salmon, lemon mayo, and lemon beurre blanc.
